Action research is a project given to the B.Ed trainees at St.Ann's College of Education. This project is assigned during the teaching practice. The project is all about conducting a research in the classroom the trainee teacher supervises, thus finding a problem with any of the students.She then scientifically presents a key to the problem identified. The following are some common problems the trainee can conduct action research on -
Target areas could be :
- Handwriting problem
- Home work
- Attendance
- Reading and writing
- Communication problem
- Disciplinary problem
- Problem to draw diagrams,graph etc.
- Hyperactiveness
- Disinterest
- Highly reserved attitude
- Usage of foul language
- Lack of confidence
